Attach your support to the wall. The easiest way to do this is get your curtain rods in place, with the connector bent in the middle. The corner will be a little floppy right now…that’s ok. Bend the curtain rod connector to create a 90 degree angle. Connect Rods and Connector Screw all the pieces together, connector in the middle between the two rods, to create one continuous pole that bends in the middle.

This will help make the transition from rod to connector, and then back to rod nice and smooth! Remember, when you order yours, match up the size of your connector with the size of your curtain rod.

I loved the idea of corner curtain rods in this room, but I didn’t love the selection I could find (or their price point.) I kept looking up at the rods I had just put up in my kitchen…and realized that once again, I could make them work, with the help of the connectors.Īs always, you will find a full supply list below, a detailed tutorial, and links (sometimes affiliate) to products I used. So once again, these little guys are going to make a big difference. It can be kept straight (like in my kitchen, where I used them to create the look of one continuous curtain rod), or it can bend…that’s how we’re going to use it today! It’s tiny (like only about two inches long) and has a hinge in the center. Need a quick refresher? Here’s a pic of a curtain rod connector. Who would have thought I’d have so much to say about these tiny little things? I am back today to talk more about curtain rod connectors. We’re going to create our own custom corner curtain rods, this time using just one connector and one support!
